Surprise!

Cliff took me to Cumberland River on our Anniversary. It was supposed to be a stop on our way to his parents so that they would have time to get ready before we stopped by to pick up our cooler to have a picnic at a park. It turns out it was our stop and he rented a boat for us! Here are some pictures from our boat ride.

Good thing we didn't anchor here.

The birds...

The River Goats... The goats? We thought the goats were funny.

New barges...

A rental house with a beach theme.

River volley ball.

New apartments.

Hope you enjoyed your sun-burnless river excursion.

Fourth of July Fireworks!

Some of my family and I went downtown for the Nashville's big Fourth of July Show. Thanks to my brother we had a VIP view. It was amazing and Makayla, Lindsey and Hailey were blown away. It was really hard to pick a few photos from last night, so I made a slide show. This by far is all of them... Just a variety pack. Enjoy.

Happy 4th of July!

While Cliff's aunt and cousins were in we bought some fireworks as we can buy 3 inch fireworks (the small fireworks that most cities or towns set off)here and they have never seen anything like it up close. So we had an early fireworks show. We may go to Nashville or another local show on the 4th so hopefully I will have more pictures next week. I would love to take Cliff to Nashville, because they have choreographed music on one of our radio stations. Here are a few from our little early show...

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Independence Day.

Dreaming of Spring...

I know it is right around the corner, but I've been ready for it since Fall! So here are some pictures I took that reminds me of how nice Spring and Summer can be.
I actually took this one on Friday. Mere hours before the snow started falling. You can kind of tell that it was cold and rainy when I took this.

One of Saber in a tree from the Summer.

A heron at the pond.

I have many more that when I look at them I can almost feel the warmth of the sun and smell the flowers and fresh cut grass, but these are the only ones I have on this computer.
