Spring has Sprung

These pictures are from Easter Sunday. It was windy and cold, but the kids had fun playing while I took pictures of them. It actually looks like a nice, but windy Spring day in pictures.

Happy Easter!

This is a card that I made at a recent Stampin' Up class. Isn't it cute!?

House Full...

What at whirl wind week. My mother-in-law is going to be living with us for a while. She is from Michigan and after months of looking for a job, any job she decided it was time to move. Our area has lots of jobs open so she has moved in with us until she can get established. Her truck couldn't make it down here (made it about 100 miles and quit) so Saturday morning we left Tennessee and headed north. We spent Sunday with her, my father-in-law, her mother, and my brother-in-law’s family. We haven't seen most of them since September (our wedding) so we had a nice time. Then at daylight on Monday with her truck and 2 truck beds full headed back south again. Please pray for us. It is always hard for Cliff (my husband) to say goodbye to his dad, but every since his dad’s heart attack it has gotten worse. I would love for everything to go smoothly, from his mom finding a good job to moving the rest of the house down. Hopefully by fall we will have Cliff's dad and grandmother moved to our area. Here are some pictures from Sunday in random order...

Dreaming of Spring...

I know it is right around the corner, but I've been ready for it since Fall! So here are some pictures I took that reminds me of how nice Spring and Summer can be.
I actually took this one on Friday. Mere hours before the snow started falling. You can kind of tell that it was cold and rainy when I took this.

One of Saber in a tree from the Summer.

A heron at the pond.

I have many more that when I look at them I can almost feel the warmth of the sun and smell the flowers and fresh cut grass, but these are the only ones I have on this computer.

Pristine Snow...

It started out like any other snowy day; Pristine, quite, and beautiful.

Until that is this beast came along.

It starts out with a short jaunt around the beautiful snowy yard.

Until it gets excited and started running wild!

Before you know it your perfect snowy yard looks like this.

Be wary of this vicious beast. Don’t let it do to you what it did to us! When tamed this beast can be kind and gentle, but you never know when it could snap and go crazy!

Going Green

My oldest niece Hailey tried out and got her green belt in Tae Kwon Do. we are so proud of her! They went over what had been taught while the children demonstrated. A few of the things were landing, rolling and jumping back up. Here are some pictures! Faces have been blurred to protect the innocent.

Try, Try...

And try again!

Woo hoo! She broke it!
Freestyle is Hailey's favorite. Don't worry.. She isn't quite as close as she looks!

The Blondie may be small, but she is mighty. She was getting her green stripe on her belt and they had to do a kick that required hitting 2 boards with small swift kicks. She was one of the few that broke both!

Her broken board.

Hailey's little sister, Lindsey, was there too for support. She is 4 by the way. ;)

She had to smell the board...

What a great night!
